Once you have set your goals and created your business model and know what your end game is, how do you go about letting the world know? Marketing.
What can I say about marketing that has not been said by…well everyone. And what insights can I bring to you that you can’t get from fantastic books and web sites and articles and almost every social media group trying to get you to use them for growing your business: tips, hints, lessons, and steps to bring you more business, more customers, more success and more money.
One thing I can stress is attitude. Your attitude. Your attitude toward the things I just mentioned and your ability to use them to your advantage. OPEN
Have an OPEN Attitude toward all the opportunities that are actually right in front of you, or available with very little effort.
Observation. Look for information and opportunities. See what your customers need to have a great experience and see what you need to succeed. There is always more to learn, more to discover and more to enjoy by opening your eyes, mind and horizons.
Positivity. That’s what we are all about here at The Positive Feed. Looking at the world with wonder and purpose and with as much positive force we can find in ourselves and others. Know what you want and be positive about reaching those goals. Positivity is contagious. You may end up helping more than just yourself and your own business if you keep that Positive Feed going.
Engagement. Make the connection. Now that you are aware of new ideas and people and possibilities and you feel positive about the potential outcome it’s time to get started. Move forward. Do it! Focus your marketing on the needs you can meet, the ideas you can share and the Positivity you offer. As a certain star ship commander often said “Engage” and “Make it so”.
Notability. Understand what it is about your art, your business, your products and services that make you different from everyone else. This might be the hardest thing for some of us. Or the easiest. But it really is simple. It is about you. You have to have a little bit of an ego here. Some of us are so afraid to recognize the Positive inside us either because we were taught to be humble or we were never assured of our talents. But now is not the time to be timid about what makes you stand out. What makes you and your offerings unique, more fun, more useful, better, different, intriguing, like nothing else out there, ever! And most important, now that I have totally told you to focus on yourself, turn it around and make it about your consumer. How is all this better-ness, different-ness and uniqueness going to benefit THEM.
OPEN Marketing. Yeah, that’s it.
I am sure you need more fun and positivity in your life. Check out these designs to make you smile! http://www.cafepress.com/thepositivefeed
